Getuk Special Food From Indonesia
Water for steaming
1 / 2 kg of cassava, peeled, cut into pieces
150 grams sugar / sugar Java
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 bh coconut, grated and steamed
If you want getuk that we should wear white sugar, to use the red color green color while the brown sugar juice obtained from leaves of Suji.
The steps to create getuk
Cassava is peeled, then washed and cut into pieces about 5 cm.
Boil until cooked cassava. Wind-aired until the steam is lost.
Mix the cassava - little Salt - Sugar. Blend until pulverized.
Coloring if desired.
Serve warm with a sprinkling of grated coconut.
Getuk usually served for snacks while drinking tea. One variation getuk presentation is to be fried.
